BLACKPINK The Game Set to Launch on May 18, With Exclusive OST and Music Video to Follow

YG Entertainment announced that ‘BLACKPINK The Game’, a new mobile game based on BLACKPINK’s IP, is set to launch on May 18, 2023. Accompanying the game’s release, an exclusive OST sung by the members and a new music video will be sequentially unveiled.
BLACKPINK (Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa) is setting its sights on the global gaming market.
According to their agency, YG Entertainment, on May 15, 2023, BLACKPINK’s new mobile game, titled ‘BLACKPINK The Game’, is set to be released on May 18, 2023. The game is based on the BLACKPINK Intellectual Property (IP) and offers fans a unique opportunity to take on the role of the band’s producer within a multiverse setting.
‘BLACKPINK The Game’ allows players to help grow BLACKPINK’s career, with modes featuring training and management simulation, puzzles using photo cards, and opportunities for players to style their own BLACKPINK avatars. The game has been highly anticipated, with teaser videos being broadcasted in major cities such as Seoul, New York, Bangkok, Paris, and Tokyo. Exclusive BLACKPINK content within the game has amplified global fans’ interest.
YG Entertainment stated, “This project, which BLACKPINK has been involved in for a long time to communicate more closely with global fans, is finally being revealed.”
They also added, “The game’s OST, which the members themselves have sung, and the music video will be unveiled sequentially, so we ask for your interest and support.”


‘BLACKPINK The Game’ is currently available for pre-order on its official website, Google Play, and Apple App Store.
In related news, BLACKPINK is also conducting the largest-scale K-pop girl group world tour, ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK]’, attracting approximately 1.5 million fans. Following a successful ongoing Asian tour, they are set to perform in a stadium tour in Paris, France, and four North American cities.
In addition, they will be the first K-pop artists to headline the British Summer Time Hyde Park Festival (BST Hyde Park) in July.
