ROSÉ UPDATE – April 7, 2023 KST

BLACKPINK will be holding their ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] JAPAN’ on April 8-9, 2023. To celebrate the event, they are hosting a pop-up store at Shibuya’s Miyashita Park in Tokyo from April 1 to April 10, 2023.

The pop-up store, located in the heart of Shibuya, is considered one of Tokyo’s most popular ‘hot places.’ With the building covered by giant portraits of the BLACKPINK members, music video projections, and a commemorative photo zone, the event has captured the attention of both fans and locals alike, increasing excitement for the main concert.

The pop-up store has experienced overcrowding due to the large number of fans visiting, prompting the organizers to introduce a reservation system for a safer experience. New merchandise produced for this tour, along with more than 40 other items, have received an explosive response, with some products quickly selling out.

The heat surrounding BLACKPINK’s Japan concerts, taking place for the first time in three years since their ‘BLACKPINK 2019~2020 WORLD TOUR IN YOUR AREA,’ is palpable. Tickets for both days sold out in an instant, demonstrating BLACKPINK’s immense popularity in Japan.

YG Entertainment announced, “We have decided to open limited view seats due to the overwhelming requests from fans who were unable to secure tickets.” They added, “With our gratitude, BLACKPINK members will repay the fans with the best stage possible.”

BLACKPINK is currently in the middle of their ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK],’ the largest scale world tour for any K-pop girl group, attracting approximately 1.5 million people. After completing 14 successful North American and 10 European performances in seven cities last year, the four members are now traveling across Asia to meet even more fans.
